I'm The Phreak

Genesis Chapter One

Buried in Burberry

Crashing Your Boss's Cybertruck

I put this song together over the course of a month. Not sure if you would call this a song, or maybe more of a "soundscape". It's synth. It's beats. It's lofi. But whatever you call it, it's meant to have on in the background.

It was interesting building out a long form song. Figuring out how to reuse elements, but also create change throughout the entire length.

The video took a lot longer to put together. I had a lot of ideas for how to present the song, but ultimately I ended up keeping it as simple and minimal as someone with my brain can.

Much appreciation to my silent collaborator, Emily Dickinson. I developed a mild affection for birds because of her. Maybe more an acceptance. Or a tolerance. I'm ok that they exist now. Thanks, Emily.
